Why Volunteer?

Apart from two part-time qualified co-ordinators, Cluster Club (ClusterCare) operates with an extensive network of volunteers.  These volunteers cover a range of activities including:

  • Hosting and support
  • Running activities
  • Providing refreshments
  • Driving members to and from the pavilion
  • Collecting fresh hot lunches

New volunteers are always welcome, and we can always find you something worthwhile to do.

We would also welcome anyone who could volunteer as a guest speaker or entertainer who can provide activities for a more mature audience.

Volunteering Information:

For hosting and supporting the Cluster Club activities, volunteers are welcome to attend a whole session (10am until 3pm) or just the morning or afternoon sessions according to your availabilty.  If required, training can be provided.

Volunteer drivers normally use their own cars to provide transport for some of the members. This involves collecting the members from their home address and if necessary helping them to and from the car.  For all drivers, their respective insurance companies should be contacted to issue a letter confirming that the insurance remains valid.  There is normally no cost for this service.
